Process is a creative journey 11/28/2020

Here are some images that show the process for my new Alpaca Barn Illustration. It was inspired by my trips to Bluebird Farm Alpacas, Alpaca Farms (www.bluebirdfarmalpacas.com)

FIrst, I scanned my thumbnail sketch into the computer and worked on the perspective

Then I developed the sketch in the computer

I played and experimented with different color palettes. Then polled Instagram to see what resonated with people.

I returned to traditional media to ink the image.

In the final stage, the image was brought back into the computer and digitally colored. Check out my illustrations to see the color palette that was selected and view the finished image.
